Gatecrasher is a game for the Playdate.
As a player of this game you will control a ship. You'll use the crank to rotate the ship; turning the crank clockwise will rotate your ship clockwise, and turning the crank anti-clockwise will rotate your ship anti-clockwise, because doing it the other way round wouldn't make sense. You must navigate your ship through gates without crashing into them.
I realise while writing this that the name of the game may be misleading, as the objective of the game is to not crash into the gates. I apologise for this, and those responsible have been fired.
Gatecrasher is also available on iOS and Android.

I'm in need of rhythm games like this one on the catalog! A couple of songs, lil more content and take my money
I like the game, probably in my top most played, but I would like it more and it would be less confusing in bits if movement were synced with the music
The core is instantly understood and fun, and the music is killer and makes me want to go farther to listen to more

The controls are smooth, and every time I fail it feels fair. Really solid bit of game design - only thing that’s lacking is a way to give you a little cash for your work
This game is super cool, a extremely polished game that is just a nice simple distraction. My record is 60.
The best soundtrack I heard on the playdate and smooth nice graphics, overall simple and addictive, the crank movement to speed is greatly balanced unlike some games. I would only welcome some Zen mode or easy mode to play longer than 30 seconds chunks of game. I can't get past 60 points. Still amazed this is free, should be on front page of The Catalogue
